Technology is something that is changing each and every day of our lives. Some of the technologies that I use in my everyday life are computers, tablets, cameras, cell phones, ipods, and internet. The internet would be the most important thing for me because without it I wouldn't be able to take advantage of most of the things that I just listed. Computers are used for research and for connecting with other people via chat, email, etc. I use my camera to take pictures to capture the moment of an everyday event. Tablets can be used like computers but are more practical to use and easier to handle. Ipods are used to listen to music wherever you like and cell phones to be able to connect with other people through text messages and calls.

4. A(n) _____workstation_______ is a specialized, single-user computer that typically has more power than a standard PC.

5. A(n) ___network server_________ is usually a powerful personal computer that functions as the primary computer in a network.

6. ______Super computers_________ are the most powerful computers made.

7. What does "PC" stand for?
It stands for personal computer.

 8. Research how computers play a crucial part in nearly every government agency. Pick an agency and discuss how that agency uses computers and why computers make their jobs easier. Some examples of government agencies that use technology frequently are the U.S. Census Bureau, IRS, Military, and Police.

The FBI, for instance, uses computers to perform several tasks such as to connect via email, distribute payments through the computer, keep record of incidents, and direct-mail promotions. Emails allow workers to compose, send, or read emails form other workers and people outside the company and can be easier and moe efficient than phone calls or texts. Distributing payments is easier to accomplish through email and therefore you don't need to give it directly to the person. The FBI has many incidents happening around the world therefore, the computer is a great tool to keep record of everything that happens and have a good history of the events with the tremendous amount of memories that the computer has. The computer is very useful and has helped many federal agencies such as the FBI.
